Tie Snake
The Tie-Snake, also called Water Serpent or Underwater Serpent, is a water spirit of the Muscogee (Creek) and other Southeastern peoples: though the size and shape of an ordinary snake, it possesses immense strength and deadly poison, seizing humans and dragging them under to drown. Some tales describe land monsters that bite their tails and roll like hoops, akin to the Underwater Panther.
