Tonttu is the Finnish household spirit, borrowed from Swedish tomte but developing distinct identity. A small weathered man in grey wool with silver beard and pointed cap, obsidian eyes seeing through lies. Disciplined and invisible, operating in attic shadows and barn corners — felt as sudden warmth or chilling draft.
