Trauco
The Trauco is a dwarf-like forest spirit from Chilote mythology (Chiloé Archipelago, Chile). Ugly, footless, and powerfully magnetic, he seduces and impregnates women, who are considered blameless due to his irresistible allure. He carries a stone hatchet to strike trees, symbolizing potency. His wife is the equally hideous Fiura. Child of the snake god Coi Coi-Vilu.
