Troll
Same entity as troll-norway — Danish trold tradition is the shared Scandinavian one. Trolds are large, lumpy humanoids with rock-like skin, long noses, stone teeth; they hoard wealth, eat humans, and fear sunlight/church bells. Dwells in caves, mountains, under bridges. The Danish 'trold' is linguistically the same word.
