Troll
Trolls are fearsome anthropomorphic beings in Norwegian folklore, ranging from massive ogrish giants (30–100+ feet, hairy, tusks, multiple eyes) to smaller mound-dwellers (haugtrold). They are nocturnal, turn to stone in sunlight, fear church bells and lightning, and live in mountains, caves, and burial mounds.
