Troll
Same entity as troll-norway — Swedish troll tradition is identical, part of shared Scandinavian folklore. Trolls in Sweden dwell in mountains (Trollhättan named for them), caves, and mounds; turn to stone in sunlight; kidnap humans. Documented in Olaus Magnus's Carta Marina (1539) showing stable-working spirits, and Swedish folktale collections.
