Troll
The Troll is a pervasive anthropomorphic being of Scandinavian folklore, ranging from massive ogrish giants (30–100+ feet, hairy, tusks, flat nose, stone-grey) to smaller mound-dwelling beings (human-sized, comely, garments of moss). Nocturnal—sunlight turns them to stone; snip church bells and crosses drive them away. Live in mountains, deep forests, caves in small family units.
