Trollkatt
Trollkatt (troll cat) is a magical cat-like creature in Norwegian folklore, particularly associated with witches and trolls in Vestlandet. The trollkatt can be either a gift from trolls to humans who helped them, or a familiar sent by witches to do their bidding. In Vestlandet tradition, the trollkatt is a large, coal-black cat with glowing green or red eyes. It brings either great luck or terrible misfortune depending on how it is treated.
