Tsagaan Üvgun
Tsagaan Ovgon ('White Old Man') is a Mongolian and Buryat spirit of longevity, fertility, and the wild. Depicted as a white-bearded old man with a staff, he is lord of water, animals, and the land, and is invoked for long life, good fortune, and protection of herds. He features prominently in Mongolian folk religion and Buddhist-influenced calendars.
