Tui Fiti
Tui Fiti ('Lord of Fiji') is the eel god of Polynesian legend, best known from the Samoan story of Sina and the Eel: a Fijian lord who, transformed into an eel, is beheaded by Sina and buried, and from whose head grows the first coconut tree. The name is also a Fijian chiefly title. The tale explains the coconut and the origins of a chiefly line.
