'Tulisan' is the Malay/Indonesian word for 'writing' or 'inscription,' and no source describes a Brunei forest-spirit of that name appearing as a bearded old man who knows the forest's secrets. Searches returned only generic hantu articles; the record appears to be a fabrication or conflation.
