Turtle Water-Spirit of Tlingit
No turtle 'water spirit' is attested in Tlingit mythology, whose water lore centers on beings such as Gonaqadet, the Undersea Chief, and the Killer Whale. Sea turtle does appear as a clan crest in some Northwest Coast traditions, including among the Tlingit, and can be carved on totem poles. The weather-controlling guardian framing of this record is not documented.
