Tussegjeita (the tusse goat) is a supernatural goat owned by the tusser (underjordiske/hidden people) in Setesdal folklore. The tusser kept their own livestock, invisible to humans, but occasionally their goats would wander into human herds. A tussegjeit was distinguishable from ordinary goats by its exceptional size, beautiful coloring (often black with white spots or pure white with golden horns), and superior milk production.
