Nambi

Nambi is the daughter of Ggulu (also known as Mugulu), the sky god in Baganda mythology, and becomes the wife of Kintu, the first man. She plays a crucial role as the bridge between the celestial and earthly realms. According to the creation myth, Nambi and her younger sister first discovered Kintu wandering alone on Earth with his cow. Fascinated by this first human, Nambi approached him and later insisted they return to her father in heaven together. After Kintu passed Ggulu's trials, Nambi married him and descended to Earth, bringing essential gifts of agriculture including millet and banan
