Ülgen (Bai-Ülgen)
Ülgen (Bai-Ülgen) is the benevolent sky-god of the Altai Turks: the radiant creator dwelling in the sixteenth heaven who made the earth and humanity. Generous, protective, and abundant, he rewards good shamans and watches over rebirth, seated on a golden mountain with a golden staff. His worship anchors Altaian and wider Turkic Tengrist tradition.
