Um Al Duwais
Um Al Duwais ('mother of the little one') is a seductive jinniyyah of Gulf folklore, appearing as a beautiful woman in a flowing black abaya who lures men into the desert with promises of companionship, then kills them; her presence is announced by sweet perfume. In Kuwait and Qatar she is also known as Umm Ghannan, and her tale ranks among the most vivid Gulf ghost stories.
