Um Hmaar (Mother of Donkeys) is a legendary half-woman, half-donkey jinn from Bahraini folklore who preys on children who venture outside at noon. She is described as having the upper body of a woman and the lower body of a donkey, with hooves that make a distinctive sound as she walks through neighborhood streets at midday.
