Umm Al Duwais
Umm Al Duwais ('Mother of the Toes') is the best-known female jinn of Emirati folklore, rooted in Bedouin oral tradition. She appears as a beautiful woman in gold and perfume who approaches men straying after dark near abandoned buildings, date groves, or desert roads, charms them, then reveals her monstrous form. The 2013 film 'Djinn' (Tobe Hooper) drew on the legend.
