Whale Kwakwaka Wakw
In Kwakwaka'wakw belief the killer whale rules the undersea world, attended by sea lions as slaves and dolphins as warriors, and may carry the soul of a deceased chief. In the Siwidi story the ancestor travels the sea kingdom with killer-whale attendants in the copper house of Ḵumugwe; the orca is a high-ranking clan crest.
