Not independently attested in Guaraní tradition. Guaraní are inland people (Paraguay, NE Argentina, S Brazil); whales do not exist in their territory or mythology. Seven legendary monsters include no whale giant. Entity appears fabricated, possibly conflating Teju Jagua (cavern/fruit god, lizard-like) with whale imagery.
