White God of the East (Xastc'inilgaiyîn)
Xastc'inilgaiyîn, the White God of the East, is one of the directional Hactcin beings of the Jicarilla Apache. In the emergence story he holds the sun in the east and lets it travel across the sky, and with the other Hactcin he raised the great mountain and made reeds grow to build the ladder by which the people climbed into this world.
