Wildcat Ghost of Ute
Not independently attested as a wildcat ghost in Ute tradition. Ute folklore records no ghostly wildcat being; its spirit world includes Coyote-Sinawav, the culture hero, and the wolf of creation accounts. As with other Ute 'wildcat' records, this entry appears fabricated, since no wildcat ghost appears in the ethnographic literature on the Ute.
