Wildcat Trickster (Cree)
Not independently attested as a wildcat trickster in Cree tradition. The Cree trickster and culture hero is Wisakedjak (Wesakechak), a shapeshifting transformer who rebuilt the world after the flood and whose humorous adventures explain the order of nature; he is not a wildcat. The underwater lynx Mishipizhiw is a Cree wildcat-like being, but it is a dangerous water spirit, never a trickster.
