Wind Spirit
The Wind Spirit is an elemental force in Comanche mythology. In the creation story, the Great Spirit infused the first people with the spirit of the wind, giving them strength of mighty storms. In the Release of the Wild Animals, a Wind spirit helped a brave warrior open the underground cavern where wild animals were confined, unleashing deer, antelope, elk, bears, wolves, and mountain lions across the plains. The Wind spirit represents freedom, power, and the unseen forces that shape the world. Wind carries prayers and is a messenger between worlds
