Wolf Giant of Aztec
No giant wolf appears in Aztec mythology. The attested wolf-like being is cuetlachtli, described in the Florentine Codex as a woolly, man-faced, wheezing stalker with a bushy tail, whose skin was worn by the 'Old Wolf' priest who tied captives to the gladiatorial stone of Xipe Totec. This is a ritual figure, not a giant.
