Not independently attested as a wolf guardian in Yurok folklore. Yurok cosmology is carried by the culture heroes Pulekukwerek and Wohpekumeu, who established customs, dances, and the balance of the world as told by Kroeber, Sapir, and Spott and Kroeber; no wolf guardian figure appears in their recorded stories.
