Xe Las Coast Salish
Xelas (Xe Las) is the Transformer of Coast Salish oral tradition who walked the world setting it right in the myth age. He and his helpers changed the flawed beings of that time into the animals and landmarks of today, and Coast Salish peoples trace the present shape of mountains, rivers, and creatures to his journeys.
