Xe Las The Changer Coast Salish
Xelas is the great Transformer of Coast Salish tradition, a benevolent culture hero who traveled the Pacific Northwest reshaping the world. He turned the changeling beings of the myth age into their present forms and set the natural order, remembered as Xáays among the Squamish and Xa:ls in Halkomelem.
