Yam-Nahar
Yam-Nahar (literally 'Sea-River') is the god of the sea and rivers in ancient Syrian (Ugaritic) mythology, the personification of the destructive power of the waters. Known as Prince Yam and Judge Nahar, he is son of the supreme god El and the beloved of his father. Yam is depicted as a serpentine deity, often identified with the sea monster Lotan (Leviathan).
