Yéʼiitsoh (Big Giant)
Yé'iitsoh, 'Big Monster,' is the first and most powerful of the Anaye, the alien monsters of the Fifth World in Navajo (Diné) tradition. Son of the Sun, he wore four suits of flint armor and made his home at Tsoodził (Mount Taylor), where the Hero Twins, born to Changing Woman, slew him with lightning arrows; his blood became a river of dark, hard stone.
