No source confirms a forest spirit named 'Yetga-chach,' described as an old hunter with a huge beard who protects game and trees; searches return only the unrelated Kyrgyz and Turkic word 'chach' (hair) and an unrelated Ukrainian forest deity. The traits recorded appear to derive from modern speculation.
