Yulm (First Carpenter)
Yulm is the eldest of the Four Carpenters (Masmasalanicw) of Nuxalk (Bella Coola) tradition, the wise and skilled creator who worked in the House of Smayusta with the Creator Alhkw'ntam. In a simple but powerful act he made Raven from a lump of charcoal, and his craft opened the way for the other carpenters to complete the world.
