Arthur's mantle, Llen Arthur, is one of the Thirteen Treasures of the Island of Britain in medieval Welsh tradition. Whoever wore the cloak became invisible, yet could still see everything about him, a power that made it a garment of spies and guardians. The treasure list, which survives in several Welsh manuscripts from the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries, records the object among the possessions of the old heroes of British legend, and one version places the mantle 'in Cornwall'.
