Bagua Mirror
The bagua mirror is a circular mirror ringed with the eight trigrams of the Book of Changes around a central yin-yang disc, hung over doorways in Chinese feng shui practice to turn away harmful energy, sha qi, and to return an attacker's evil gaze. In domestic use it is placed above the main door or facing a threatening structure such as a road, a corner, or a neighbour's roof-ridge, so that the mirror deflects or reflects the influence back to its source.
