Bangmangi
The bangmangi is the magic club of the dokkaebi, the mischievous goblin of Korean folklore, which grants whatever a person wishes when it is struck. In the folktales the dokkaebi owns the club and uses it to summon food, gold, and servants, and clever humans trick the gullible goblin into surrendering it: a thief or a poor man persuades the dokkaebi that a beating with the club will bring a blessing, then runs off with the prize.
