Brísingamen
Brísingamen, the necklace of the goddess Freyja, is one of the great treasures of the Norse gods, forged by the dwarves. The Prose Edda lists it among the wealth of the gods, and in the poem Lokasenna Loki taunts Freyja that she had to sleep with each of the four dwarves who made it to obtain it — a story expanded in the later Sörla þáttr, where Freyja is described as bartering her favours for the jewel.
