Burnous Cloak
The burnous is the hooded, floor-length cloak of the Maghreb, worn by Amazigh (Berber) and Arab men across Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia and Libya. It is woven in one seamless piece from pure sheep's wool, often left in the natural cream or brown colour of the fleece or dyed, and it is fitted with a single pointed hood that can be drawn over the head in sun, wind or rain.
