Cormac's Cup
The cup of Cormac mac Airt appears in Echtra Cormaic, the Adventure of Cormac, a medieval Irish tale in which a warrior who is really Manannán mac Lir gives the high king a golden cup in exchange for his wife and daughter. The cup is a cup of truth: if three lies are spoken over it, it breaks into pieces, and if three truths are told it is made whole again, so that Cormac uses it to test the words of his court.
