The jebena is the round, clay coffee pot of Ethiopia, with a narrow neck, a round belly, and a small spout, fired without glaze and used in the country's coffee ceremony (bunna). In the ceremony, green beans are roasted in a pan over coals, ground, and boiled three times in the jebena, and the pot sits on a bed of fresh grass while incense burns beside it.
