Óðrœrir
Óðrœrir is the kettle that holds the mead of poetry, brewed by the dwarves Fjalar and Galar from the blood of Kvasir, the wisest of beings, mixed with honey. Whoever drinks the mead gains the gift of poetry and wisdom, and the brew is stored in three vessels — the great kettle Óðrœrir and the two bowls Boðn and Són. The giant Suttungr seized the mead after the dwarves killed his parents, and Odin stole it back from Suttungr's daughter Gunnlöð, drinking all of Óðrœrir in three draughts and escaping in eagle form.
