Puja Thali
The puja thali is the round metal tray on which the objects of Hindu home worship are arranged, so that the whole ritual can be performed from a single plate. Typical contents are a small diya (oil lamp), a container of kumkum (vermilion powder), incense sticks in a holder, a bowl of rice, a flower or marigold petals, and a camphor burner, and the plate is carried in the right hand while the flames are waved before the image in the arti.
