Šajkača
The šajkača is the traditional Serbian cap, a rounded woollen cap with a raised crown whose four points fold into a characteristic V shape, made from a single piece of cloth and worn without a visor. Its name honours the šajkaši, the eighteenth-century Serbian river troops who crewed the šajka boats of the Danube and Sava under Habsburg command and who first wore the shape.
