Agneta and the Sea King
Agneta, daughter of a lord, encounters the Sea King by the lake at sunset. Enchanted by his music, she forgets her former life and becomes his queen beneath the waters for seven years, bearing him seven sons. When church bells reach her underwater realm, she begs to attend church. Above the surface, memories of her father and former life overwhelm her. When the Sea King comes to reclaim her, she refuses, choosing her own freedom over returning to her children.
