Birth of Wainamoinen
In primeval times, the Daughter of the Ether descends to the ocean. A duck nests on her knee, laying six golden eggs and one iron egg. These eggs break, forming the earth, sky, sun, moon, and stars. Wainamoinen is born and spends years in the womb before emerging as an old, wise singer and enchanter who shapes the early world.
