A classic African American trickster tale in which Brer Rabbit, feeling thirsty, goes to the millpond to drink and sees the moon reflected in the water. Mistaking it for a golden cheese wheel, he tries to retrieve it. Unable to reach it from the bank, he tricks Brer Fox into helping him by claiming there is a valuable treasure in the pond.
