Dame Soåsan
A powerful female troll named Dame Soåsan lives in the hills near Eksjö. She punishes those who insult her and rewards those who show kindness. A poor woman who spins yarn for her grows rich but becomes greedy, cheats the trolls, and loses everything. A servant girl who is kind to troll children is rewarded with cows that return home milked each night.
