Hiro the Trickster and the Magic Canoe
Hiro, the Tahitian trickster god of thieves and the son of the god Ta'aroa, built a magical canoe that could sail faster than the wind. Using his cunning and his enchanted vessel, Hiro traveled across the Society Islands performing daring thefts and outsmarting chiefs and gods alike. He stole fish from the markets, food from the temples, and once even attempted to steal the island of Bora Bora itself.
