Jack and the Robbers
Jack leaves home seeking adventure and meets a group of robbers in the forest. Rather than fleeing, Jack cleverly ingratiates himself with them, pretending to be a fierce outlaw. He joins their band and joins them on a raid of a wealthy house. When the robbers send Jack in to check if the house is empty, Jack finds it full of people but convinces the robbers the house is safe by using ventriloquism and mimicry. During the robbery attempt, Jack deliberately makes noise to alert the householders, then blames the commotion on ghosts. The robbers flee in terror, leaving all the loot behind. Jack c
