Johan and the Trolls
A servant named Johan is sent to catch a horse but is lured by a beautiful troll maiden into a mountain. He disappears for years, forced to steal food for the trolls using a magical red hat that lets him fly through locked doors. His master eventually rescues him by throwing his clothes up the cliff, but Johan is never the same, remaining gloomy and silent until his death.
