Kibuka: The War God of Buganda
Kibuka is the fearsome war god of the Baganda people, the brother of the lake god Mukasa. According to legend, Kibuka was once a mortal man of extraordinary strength and military genius. When Buganda was threatened by invasion from the neighboring Bunyoro kingdom, Kibuka was called upon to lead the army. He fought with supernatural ferocity, invisible to his enemies, raining arrows down upon them from a cloud. The enemy could not see him but could feel his arrows, and they fled in terror.
